About Jules & Loom

I’m Julia, the maker and innovator behind Jules & Loom. I’ve always been fascinated by how things are made, and how they could be made better. I combine traditional and modern upholstery techniques, adapting processes and developing new approaches to create pieces that are beautiful, practical, affordable and safe.

My skills have been built through years of making, testing, problem-solving and listening to customers. I make every product by hand in my workshop in Derbyshire, UK. Each piece is cut, sewn and finished to order, with care and attention to the details that make it right for your home. I also regularly collaborate with my daughter, Flo, on sewn items such as cushions and valances.

When you order from Jules & Loom, you’re not buying something off a shelf. You’re getting something made especially for you, by hands that care about getting it right.
